How we work

Short increments, measured outcomes, documented ownership.

Automation projects fail when they are scoped as programmes. We scope them as increments — each one small enough to prove and large enough to matter.

Engagement

Discover, prioritise, build, improve.

A typical first engagement runs eight to twelve weeks from discovery to a working solution in production.

  1. 01

    Discover

    1–2 weeks

We spend time with the people doing the work and map the process as it actually runs — including the informal steps, the workarounds and the exceptions.

    What you get

    • Current-state process map
    • Manual effort quantified per transaction
    • Systems and data flows documented
    • Exception paths identified
  2. 02

    Prioritise

    1 week

We sequence the candidate work by effort removed against delivery cost, so the first increment is small enough to prove and valuable enough to fund the next.

    What you get

    • Prioritised backlog with indicative effort
    • First increment scoped and costed
    • Success measures agreed up front
    • Governance and environment plan
  3. 03

    Build

    4–8 weeks per increment

We build on Power Platform in short cycles, piloting with real users before rollout. Monitoring, failure alerting and ownership are configured as part of the build, not afterwards.

    What you get

    • Working solution in your tenant
    • Pilot with a named user group
    • Monitoring and failure alerting
    • Documentation and handover
  4. 04

    Improve

    Ongoing

We measure the before-and-after effort, confirm the result with the business, then plan the next increment against the highest remaining cost.

    What you get

    • Measured before-and-after comparison
    • Documented ownership and support model
    • Adoption review with the user group
    • Next increment proposed

Principles

How we make decisions on your behalf.

These are the positions we hold consistently, including when they cost us work.

  • Integrate before replacing

Replacement projects carry disproportionate risk. We only recommend one when integration genuinely cannot solve the problem.

  • Automate the standard path completely

Partial automation that still needs a person to check every record rarely pays back. We aim for straight-through processing with deliberate exception handling.

  • Governance from the first build

Environments, connection ownership, data policies and alerting are set up at the start so solutions stay supportable as they spread.

  • Measure honestly

We baseline the effort before we build and report the difference afterwards, including where the result fell short of the estimate.

  • Leave you able to maintain it

Documented, owned and understood by your team. We are not interested in being a permanent dependency.

  • Say no when it isn't worth it

If the effort removed doesn't justify the build, we will tell you at the discovery stage rather than after the invoice.

Governance

What we set up so this stays supportable.

Power Platform spreads quickly once it works. Governance is what determines whether that is an asset or a liability in two years.

  • Environment strategy separating development, test and production
  • Service-account connection ownership rather than personal accounts
  • Data loss prevention policies aligned to your tenant standards
  • Run history, failure alerting and a defined response path
  • Named business and technical owner for every solution
  • Documented support model and change process

Bring us the process that is slowing you down.

A 30-minute discovery call is enough to work out whether automation is the right answer, and what it would take.
